Affinity Media launches new program for sports publishers

Five years since GoonerNews began aggregating news headlines from a handful of publishers for Arsenal fans, the Affinity Media Sports Network has grown to 40 websites, more than 500 publishers, and reaches 2 million visitors a month. In that time the Network has sent an estimated half-a-billion visits to bloggers, national news websites and online versions of newspapers.

Starting today, the Affinity Media Sports Network is introducing a new paid inclusion program that will streamline the process for publishers wishing to be included in the network. For just £10 a month, publishers can have guaranteed speedy inclusion in the network with professional grade support, additional search-engine-optimization benefits and a simple online sign-up process.

Reaction from publishers has been universally positive with most welcoming a more formalized, easy-to-understand structure and with other aggregation networks closing their doors to new publishers.
